ELE International was acquired by Danaher corporation on 5th Feb 2002.

Danaher has acquired the Viridor Instrumentation group which also includes ELE's sister companies Hydrolab, GLI International and Orbisphere.

The Danaher Corporation designs, manufactures and markets industrial and consumer products in two principal businesses - Process and Environmental Controls and Tools and Components.

Danaher's Water Quality group of companies enjoys the number one position world-wide in analytical instrumentation for water quality and water treatment products.

H. Lawrence Culp, Jr., Danaher's President and Chief Executive Officer remarked:
